The offensive line sucked and the Quarterback sucked like a President Clinton intern on a Saturday night but yet they beat our asses in the AFC championship game.
The one thing that they had going is that their defense was almost as good as the 1985 Chicago Bears team.
Why am I bringing this up?
Well it looks as if the Raiders this season are in the same position as the Ravens were in 2000.
Defense is what wins the games when you get right down to it. Just look at what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did to the Raiders in the Super Bowl. Raiders were ranked number one in offense but that did not matter since the Buccaneers were ranked number one in defense.
Brooks is not the answer, Tui time was up even before it started and Walter is still a little wet behind the ears. The Raiders will struggle when they have the ball this season but it is encouraging news to hear that the defense is coming together as a team and putting everything they have into it.
Hit hard, make them forget their names and remember the Raiders.
