www.ajc.comALAMEDA, Calif. (AP)--Defensive tackle John Parrella was placed on injured reserve by the Oakland Raiders with a groin injury Wednesday, the tenth Raider lost this season. The 34-year-old Parrella was hurt Oct. 5 at Chicago. He missed his first game in nine years the following week at Cleveland and hasn't played since despite constant rehab work. Parrella signed as a free agent with the Raiders in March of 2002 and became a key part of the Raiders' revamped defense during their Super Bowl run last season. Other key players on injured reserve for the 3-10 Raiders include defensive ends Trace Armstrong and Sam Williams; quarterbacks Rich Gannon and Marques Tuiasosopo; safety Rod Woodson; linebackers Bill Romanowski and Travian Smith; offensive tackle Matt Stinchcomb; and running back Justin Fargas.
