ALAMEDA -- The Raiders completed their 2013 draft with the selection of defensive end David Bass of Missouri Western, No. 233 overall.
Bass, 6-foot-4, 262 pounds, had 11.5 sacks as a senior and finished his career with 40.5 sacks. He was starter since his freshman season.
Given the Raiders lack of depth at the position, Bass stands a good chance of making the roster. Among the current defensive ends on the roster are Lamarr Houston, Andre Carter, free agent signee Jason Hunter and 2012 draft pick Jack Crawford.
