www.contracostatimes.com/By Chris Metinko Oakland Tribune The Alameda County Board of Supervisors, the Oakland City Council and the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority have signed off on a three-year extension of the Oakland Raiders' lease at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The Coliseum Authority and Raiders announced last month they had reached a tentative agreement to extend the term of the Raiders' lease, which had been set to expire after the 2010 season. The tentative deal, however, still called for approval from the county, the Coliseum Authority and Oakland. The National Football League still must approve the agreement. Terms of the extension, which should keep the team in Oakland through the 2013 season, are similar to the current lease, which calls for the team to pay $525,000 per season and share some other revenue with the authority, such as what they get from concessions. The extension calls for the team to pay an additional $5 million over the additional three years. The team still would owe the $5 million if they decided to move to a stadium outside Alameda County.
