While numerous lower-tiered free agents re-signed with their teams, the last few days have still brought a number of starters and potential starters into the news, from signing with other teams to contract and legal troubles.
# CB Nick Harper agreed to a three-year deal with the Titans, leaving divisioin rival Indianapolis. It's an important signing for the Titans with the future of Pacman Jones uncertain as he deals with his latest off-field incident.
# LB Lance Briggs, who was given the team's franchise tag last month, said he has played his final down for the Bears. Unhappy that the team will not reward his two Pro Bowl seasons with a multi-year deal, he told various media outlets that he is prepared to sit out next season rather than play for his one-year, $7.206 million tender.
# TE Marcus Pollard, who spent last season with Chicago, has signed with Seattle. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
# TE Jerramy Stevens faces DUI and marijuana possession charges after being pulled over in Scottsdale, Ariz., early Tuesday. Stevens, who caught 22 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns for the Seahawks last season, is an unrestricted free agent.
# WR Kelley Washington, the fourth receiver for the Bengals most of last season, signed with the Patriots. The deal is reportedly for five years and worth $22 million.
# CB Frank Walker, a free agent from the Giants, signed a one-year deal with the Packers that reportedly could be worth as much as $1.5 million if he hits all incentives.
# LB Ryan Fowler, a restricted free agent tendered at $850,000 by the Cowboys, signed a four-year deal with the Titans on Monday. That came a day after Philadelphia announced it had signed Fowler to an offer sheet. Fowler would earn a total of $5 million next season with the Titans, making it unlikely Dallas will match the offer.
# WR Shaun McDonald agreed to a two-year deal with Detroit, where he will be reunited with former Rams coach and current Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz.
# CB Pacman Jones' hearing for his felony charge of obstruction of police was postponed until at least May 14. The judge reportedly agreed to the delay to give Jones' attorneys time to determine how a plea bargain might seen in the eyes of the NFL, which has the ability to suspend players for off-field incidents.
# S Kevin Kaesviharn, a free agent from the Bengals, signed a four-year deal with the Saints.
# CB Roderick Hood, an unrestricted free agent from the Eagles, signed with Arizona.
# CB Travis Fisher, a free agent from St. Louis, signed a one-year deal with the Lions.
# OG Ikechuku Ndukwe, an exclusive rights free agent, re-signed with the Ravens.
# RB Travis Minor signed with the Rams. Terms were not disclosed.
# DT Kevin Vickerson (not tendered as ERFA by Dolphins 3/1) was added to the Dolphins' roster.
# WR Alvis Whitted, an unrestricted free agent, re-signed with the Raiders.
# DE Derreck Robinson, an exclusive rights free agent, re-signed with the Chargers.
# TE Mark Bruener, an unrestricted free agent, re-signed with the Texans.
# WR Quincy Morgan, an unrestricted free agent, re-signed with the Broncos.
# QB John Navarre (not tendered as RFA by Cardinals 3/1) was added to the Colts' roster.
# S Jamie Thompson, an exclusive rights free agent, re-signed with the Jets.
# T Chad Slaughter, a free agent, re-signed with the Raiders.
# LB LeVar Woods, a free agent, re-signed with the Titans.
# OT Jason Fabini had his contract terminated by the Cowboys.
# OG Floyd Womack, an unrestricted free agent, re-signed with the Seahawks.
# TE Mike Gomez was waived by the Seahawks.
# TE Todd Yoder signed a three-year deal to stay with the Redskins.
# DE Kenny Peterson re-signed with the Broncos. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
# OG Brian Rimpf, an exclusive rights free agent, re-signed with the Ravens.
# CB Kiwaukee Thomas, an unrestricted free agent, re-signed with the Bills.
# S B.J. Ward (released from reserve/injured with injury settlement by Ravens 9/1) signed with Oakland.
# CB Sammy Davis (released by 49ers 2/26) signed with Tampa Bay.
