mvn.com/By Patrick Patterson On the Raiders Report the other day they centered the episode around the original Raider Jim Otto. In it, Otto said that he will be having open heart surgery on July seventh. This man has given his everything to the Raider Nation. I am sure that when the doctors open him up, his heart will be Silver and Black. The Raider Nation wishes you all the best of health, and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, Mr. Raider. Here at TFDS, our roster page is continually updated, and we have started adding player pages that link off the roster page that will ultimately have a brief bio of the player, as well as a feed to past TFDS articles about him. The Raider Nation Celebration will be held Sunday August 1oth at McAfee Coliseum. Rob and I will be there covering the event for TFDS. We will be doing fan interviews like we did at Ricky’s on draft day, so if you want to be seen and heard on TFDS get in contact with us via email before hand or flag us down if you see us there. If you haven’t done so already, feel free to befriend us on Myspace and/or join the Thoughts from the Dark Side group on facebook. We love the passion you guys show in our comment box, but lets leave off the threats of violence. Rob and I are both ardent defenders of free speech, so please use it wisely. This whole “Lets meet so we can fight” stuff is getting silly. Besides, if it continues MVN may order us to crack down, and no one wants that. Unless something drastic changes in the very near future, Ray Guy will be the TFDS candidate for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
