The Raider sign DE Bobby Hamilton from New England, who they reportedly had their eye on early in the free agent bidding.
No one can accuse Al Davis of standing pat after a 4-12 season. The 2004 Raider defense will be barely recognizable from last year's. The front seven defensive alignment, on paper anyway, shapes up as follows:

T. Smith D. Rudd D. Clark N. Harris
Parrella spells Ted. Tyler Brayton spells Sapp. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila spells Hamilton.
