Longest?
Perhaps it is because we had so much crap in the last two seasons after being back to back to back AFC West champs.
Here is looking at a very short off season next year!!!

The offseason is long, but every great Raider adventure requires time to set sail to the Superbowl. The first SB victory in 1977 took 9 grueling seasons of being AFC West Champs and the winningest pro team. The second SB was a surprize that critics and fans didn't see coming. I don't think that the great Jim Plunkett even saw it either, but it happened. The 3rd SB was the first in so. cal. that made Marcus Allen a god among men and at the same time knocked off the previous SB champ- the Redskins. Every great season- maybe this one- needs time to set a course of domination that will please Raider fans and defy others.
