ALAMEDA, Calif. - Oakland safety Rod Woodson was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a knee injury, becoming the 11th Raiders player lost for the season and fifth in nine days.
The Raiders elevated safety Carey Scott to the active roster from the practice squad and signed safety Curry Burns to the practice squad.
Okay, this is getting to the point where I am gonna start running some wind sprints in the evenings when I get home from work. Just in case I get the call in the remaining uh, 5 weeks. I mean, at least there are people at the Coliseum that have heard of me before... who the heck are Scott and Burns?
Anyway, I'll be ready in case I'm needed. I can miss coverage assignments and whiff on tackles as well as anyone we have out there now, right? Who's with me on this?
