www.ibabuzz.com/By Steve Corkran The Raiders placed veteran defensive tackle Richard Seymour on season-ending injured reserve. It’s conceivable that Seymour has played his last game with the Raiders. Seymour is an unrestricted free agent after this season, his fourth with the Raiders. He finished with 15 tackles, including three sacks, in eight games. He has been bothered by sore knees and a hamstring injury that he suffered Nov. 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers. Coach Dennis Allen said it’s likely that the Raiders will fill Seymour’s spot on the 53-man roster before Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers. If so, that player almost certainly will come from the practice squad. The smart money says, the Raiders will sign safety Corey Nelms from the practice squad, given the injury to starting strong safety Tyvon Branch, who hasn’t practiced much the past three weeks because of a sore ankle.
